Sir Richard Starkey, known professionally as Ringo Starr, was the drummer for the Beatles. After the band called it quits in 1970, he took the opportunity to pursue other avenues, including a solo career. He will release his latest album, Crooked Boy, on April 20, Record Story Day, and the first single, "February Sky," can be heard below.

Crooked Boy will be Starrs fifth consecutive EP with four original tracks. All of the songs were written and produced by Linda Perry for Starr to mold into his own with vocals and drums. The EP will be released on a limited edition marble vinyl. The album will be released digitally on April 26.

Since the Beatles broke up, Starr has released 20 solo studio albums, of which many say his debut, Ringo, has been the strongest. The album peaked at No. 7 on the UK Album Chart and No. 2 on Billboard 200 and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. The record is noted for including all four members of the Beatles and numerous guest stars, including Marc Bolan, Billy Preston, members of The Band, Nicky Hopkins, and many more. He has received nine Grammy Awards and is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times, once with the Beatles and the second as a solo artist.

Throughout his solo career, Starr would achieve two number-one hits, "Photograph," written by Starr and George Harrison, and "You're Sixteen," written by the Sherman brothers, Robert B. and Richard M.
