Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem is a rock band formed in 1975 for the sketch comedy, The Muppet Show.  Commonly known as Electric Mayhem, the band has a new solo series on  Disney+ The Muppets Mayhem. One thing that needs mentioning, this band is comprised of Muppets.

Each of the band members' personalities and appearances have been influenced by real rock and jazz music performers. The band members include Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, and Lips. Electric Mayhem first appeared on ”‘The Muppet Show: Sex & Violence,” the series pilot.
Electric Mayhem's first film role was in The Muppet Movie in 1979, where they sang “Can You Picture That.” They would go on to star in several other Muppet movies and specials.

On May 10, 2023, the band premiered their first solo series venture, The Muppets Mayhem, which airs on Disney+. The entire band is joined by a human cast that consists of Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and Anders Holm. The series' first season consists of 10 episodes, and fans are hoping for a second season.

The series follows Electric Mayhem as the wildly popular band who have always intended to record their first album once their tour was over. But the ongoing tour continued, hence no record. The series follows their adventure to record their album which is now available for purchase.

The series features several famous cameos, including Paula Abdul, Steve Aoki, David Bizarro, Rachel Bloom, Nicole Byer, Sofia Carson, Charlamagne Tha God, Tommy Chong, Billy Corgan, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, deadmau5, Desiigner, Colton Dunn, Morgan Freeman, Susanna Hoffs, James Hong, Jennifer Irwin, Karamo, Kesha, Tommy Lee, Lil Nas X, Riki Lindhome, Cheech Marin, Ziggy Marley, Jack McBrayer, Arden Myrin, Nico Santos, Kristen Schaal, Ben Schwartz, Ryan Seacrest, Kevin Smith, Chris Stapleton, Danny Trejo, Joe Lo Truglio, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Cedric Yarbrough, and Zedd.

The Muppets, in general, are multi-generational, and kids who grew up with them in the ‘70s & ‘80s are happy to introduce them to their children and grandchildren in the new series.
