Judas Priest, the iconic heavy metal band, has returned to North America with an electrifying new tour to promote their upcoming album, Invincible Shield, and it seems tickets are still available (check the band's official website for ticket availability)! This highly anticipated record, their 19th studio release, was already released on March 8, 2024 (as fans surely know). Fans can expect a series of powerful, "all out" performances as Judas Priest hits the road with Swedish power metal band Sabaton as their special guests.

The tour kicks off on September 13th at Montreal's Bell Centre and includes a series of headlining shows across the U.S. and Canada. Alongside these performances, Judas Priest will also make notable appearances at major festivals like Louder Than Life and Aftershock. Pre-sales for this tour began on June 12th, and general ticket sales opened on June 14th.

Invincible Shield marks Judas Priest's first new music since their 2018 album, Firepower, which was well-received by both fans and critics. The new album is produced by Andy Sneap, who has been touring with the band as a guitarist since Glenn Tipton's retirement due to Parkinson's disease. Sneap has been a crucial part of the band’s sound in recent years, both in the studio and on stage.

Judas Priest's current lineup includes founding member and bassist Ian Hill, vocalist Rob Halford, guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, drummer Scott Travis, and touring guitarist Andy Sneap. Although Tipton no longer tours full-time, he continues to contribute to the band’s recordings and occasionally makes live appearances. This tour offers fans a chance to witness these metal legends perform both new material and classic hits.

Who is Sabaton?

Sabaton, known for their history-themed power metal, will provide strong support, making this tour a must-see for metal enthusiasts. They are considered one of the "big four" power metal bands. The band’s decision to team up with Sabaton reflects their ongoing commitment to delivering a powerful and engaging live experience.
