Def Leppard is currently on the road during the 2024 stadium tour with Journey and a rotating lineup of special guests, including Cheap Trick and The Steve Miller Band. The band recently released a new stadium anthem, "Just Like 73," featuring Tom Morello. Next, guitarist Phill Collen will debut his graphic novel Hysteria.

The Hollywood Reporter got the exclusive news and images for Collen's latest venture, a graphic novel from Vault Comics, which he co-wrote with Eliot Rahal, known for his graphic novel Bleed Them Dry. They collaborated with YULE: Dreadful Tales for the Holiday Season artist Alex Schilitz in her graphic novel debut and colorist Fabi Marques with lettering by Jim Campbell.

According to THR, Collen has been a fan of comics since he was young. He still holds on to two very special editions Silver Surfer No. 1 by Stan Lee and John Buscema and The Incredible Hulk No. 3 by Lee and Jack Kirby, which are stored safely in his home in London.

His graphic novel combines his love of music and horror in a tale about Foz, the front woman for an indie band named Darkside, who inherits a demonic guitar. Def Leppard makes a cameo in the story, which follows Foz as the guitar, made from cursed wood from the Mesopotamian era, promises fame and fortune, a promise that is fulfilled. But, just when things are looking up, the band's equipment is stolen, unleashing Foz's own dark side as she does everything in her power to get it back.

Hysteria can be pre-ordered via Vault Comics, which offers several different versions that are expected to ship after November 30, 2024. The graphic novel is available in a deluxe edition, a collector's edition, and a collector's edition signed by all five members of Def Leppard. The site even offers merch for Darkside, the band featured in the story.

Def Leppard's Summer Stadium Tour began in early July and will continue through September. The band celebrates the 40th Anniversary of their diamond-certified album Pyromania, which was released in 1983, by featuring deep cuts of the album on the latest tour. They have also released a deluxe expanded edition of the Pyromania album, complete with a new merch line.

Don't miss the Summer Stadium Tour 2024, and check out all the dates on Def Leppard's andJourney's websites, where you can purchase tickets and VIP packages for both bands.
